Recruits are not yet Young Marines and follow a different schedule. Recruit training is held at our unit headquarters at the American Legion in Cartersville, GA (map).

Orientation for our next recruit class will be held in January of 2013. This is a mandatory event for all recruits. It's the last chance to join this cycle. Once a Recruit Class has started training, EVYM cannot take new members until the next training cycle. We have a mandatory training schedule that National Headquarters demands must be adhered to.

Recruits are to arrive at the Legion AND be on the review field no later than 8:00. 

Please make sure to bring your lunch and plenty of water.
